Nature Shutterbug

Bio: My passion for photography began nearly 20 years ago... I started out with my dad’s old film camera; taking macro shots by turning the lens around and holding it into place. In ’98 I studied at the Hallmark Institute of Photography and shot mostly with a medium format film camera and a macro/portrait lens. Now I shoot primarily with a digital SLR and a 55-300mm telephoto zoom, or by attaching close-up filters to my 18-105 lens. I love the feeling of getting close to my subjects in nature. I notice fine details that are often missed with day to day glimpses. I feel more at one with nature while looking through my camera. I enjoy looking at nature from every angle, as well as observing it up close and personal.
